Sorry to be a newb and probably posting in the wrong area, but I was wondering if anyone knew where you can find 4 rotor engines for sale. I heard Pineapple Racing and Mazdaspeed made ones you can buy but I haven't found specs or pricing. Even if I found one I doubt I could afford it but I was just curious of what expirence others might have had with this situation.

I dont think you can buy an actual r26b motor outright, but you could build a 4 rotor. Look at www.kiwi-re.com, or try www.hurleyrotary.com. Try googling the Scoot 24a FD. It is two 12a's slapped together, with custom e-shaft, pretty much custom everything.

Yeah I have no clue where people get 40k for a 20b swap, granted you are willing to get your hands dirty

Probably adding up raw costs off all new parts, the engine alone tips the scales at $12,000+ figuring it that way. At $9,000 for an conversion I want to know who is stealing the engine for you.

I can get a 20b with tranny for 2500 https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png well I know a guy that was quoted that much, i'm sure he would get me one that cheap. rebuild would be 1400cdn, so I can get a rebuilt longblock for about 4k CDN. but thats just the motor, the ems will be close to 2500, and all the little crap adds up about a 10j project if you do most yourself.





Edit, thats also assuming you have near perfet internals to begin with.
