do the 13b motors(n/a and turbo) from the 2nd gens bolt right into a 1st gen rx-7 or would it require some modification. if so, what kind of modification and how much would it cost?

No, they won't. They require mods. Do a search, it is a long topic.

They bolt in if you use these GSL-SE parts from a 84-95 SE.You'll need: the pan, oil pick-up tube,front cover and mount the you can use the stock SE crossmember like I did or use the Racing Beat 12a-13b engine mount adapter.My 13b and 13bt's are running SE crossmembers. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
