can someone give me an accurate list of parts needed for the 13b re motor to go into a s5 n/a fc and run? i plan on buying the motor, rebuilding it myself, then single turbo and front mount when it goes in. id prefer to use the tII ecu if i could with a greedy emanage if possible. thanks

Get the turbo transmission, driveshaft, rear diff, and rear axles first, then come back and ask for what else you need...

might want to try to find a turbo II donor car w/ a blown motor from a junk yard or similiar. and take the whole drivetrain and put it into your car.

Everything from the turbo car is beefier and will be able the handle the power that your going to make with a cosmo and a single. As far as rear diff's Try to find a 87 or 88 (turbo of course) it's a clutch type limited slip and is just about bullet proof.

will do, but besides the fc3s.org mounts, what is required for the motor to bolt it? do i use the same parts list from the t2 swap into a n/a?

you'll be minus two bell housing bolts because the starter was in a differen't place on the automatics. J.r. made a bracket for mine so the long starter bolt would have something to tighten against.

the water pump on the cosmo is goofy and weights like 15 lbs, so I suggest using the housing off of a s5 or s4 and replacing the water pump while doing the swap. That will also let you keep your current upper radiator hose.

if you want to use the big pretty elbow that comes out of the throttle body it's going to need to be trimmed down to clear the hood, or like jr did, and just cut it at a strategic place and spin it around to aim it in the right direction.

providing the mounts are of good quality, the motor will sit in the stock location, so there are no clearance issues.

as far as oil cooler lines, the one going to the front housing can be kept, but the cosmo has the rear line coming out of the oil pedistal instead of the rear housing, so the current line will be like 3 inches too short. So you will need to make a line from that, using two 18mm/ -10an adapters and a couple -10 elbows, and make sure to use the copper crush washers like they did stock.

I'm using my stock radiator with a s5 clutch fan, and it fit my shroud just fine (again, providing that he motor mounts put the motor in the stock location) and I haven't had any cooling issues at all.

throttle linkage is going to have to have a bracket made, or be modified, because the length between the bracket and the tb is different than was on the cosmo.

not sure what your planning on doing about the injectors, but a stock fd rail will work with a little clearancing (side feed) and you can use any top feed for the secondaries, there's enought room under the manifolds to mount the damn turbo there if you had to.

thats all the issues I can think of right now
