I'm considering going Haltech in the near future as I have decided that is the best option before any more mods. I would like to get new connectors for my injectors and my BAC, as a few of them cracked when I took my engine out for the rebuild. I'm sure the others are brittle enough by now that they will crack at some point too.



I read that K2RD carried the Kouki connectors for like $13 each. However, I have an '87 so those won't work. And I'm hoping the old ones are cheaper anyway!



On a side note, is there any reason to not use a 3bar MAP sensor over a 2bar sensor? I know that I will not be going over 1 bar of boost right now, but someday I might so I figure I might as well buy the 3 bar sensor now since they are basically the same price.

Most big chain auto parts stores carry them.

I know Kragen / Shuckers / Checkers has them.

They are "Bosch" fuel injector plugs.

Autozone / Pep Boys should carry them too.





2bar is slightly cheaper - for ultimate cheap, a stock FC turbo boost sensor *is* a 2bar MAP sensor, and you can rewire so the Haltech can read it correctly - saves you some money there.



If you're not going to go over 15psi, go with the 2bar.

If you're planning to go more than 15psi, go for the 3bar.



As an advantage for the 3bar, it's actually quicker to tune the Haltech, as you're dealing with less "bars", cause you're not mapping all the way up to 30psi...

If your getting the haltech it comes with new injector plugs..and harness.. No need to spend money on something that comes with the ECU
