I'm looking in to buying a ECU which is the best for the money?? I have a 87 Turbo II

How is it around your area that can install and tune? Check around first what help is available locally and what tuners can help you tune the specific ecu.
Also how much money do you really want to spend? You can spend anywhere from 500 - 4000 for a ecu. C |
I hate you Carlos.. Now I want a haltech after seeing your car.. Damn you..!! But thanks for helping make up my mind..

For future reference, the e6k has be superseded by the e6x
E6k has be discontinued. The new e6x is basically an upgrade from the old unit, with a few more tricks. |
I saw on ebay they have some kind of knight sports ecu chip for about 20$
are they good? |
Word of advice, dont ever expect to get anything good for $20 but a BJ hehe
Seriously though, watch yourself on EBAY. One question: Why do you want anything done to your ECU, whats wrong with stock? Do you have a ton of mods? |
i have a good amount of mods and its time for an ecu, my friend has a haltek e6k and it is working ou wee for him. The problem is that it only works on windows 98. I have windows XP on my laptop. So does anyone have a good answer to my question
|
i think i'll try!
20$ is not that much i'll let you know |
the answer to the ecu question is: whatever you can get support for easily
