like the title saids, what cars came with 2 or 3 bar map sensor, and wich one will work right on 10-15 psi of boost? i need a map sensor so i can install my microtech on my car. thanks

to my knowledge, the least expensive one you will find will be from a 89 pontiac sunbird turbo

I don't know about the Sunbird, but the one Haltech uses is from the 89 Turbo Trans Am. They might be the same part number.

the na fc has a 1 bar map sensor (-15psi to 0)



the t2 fc has a 2 bar map sensor ( -15psi to 15psi)



the fd has a weird 2 bar sensor (-15psi to 17psi)



without actually testing any, most na cars are going to have a 1bar and most turbo cars are gonna be 2, unless factory boost is over 10-12psi in which case it might be a 3bar.

Most of the stand alones use a GM Map sensor from the Buick Grand National, and the Pontiac Turbo trnas am (89)

the part number from the gn, ta, and sunbird are the same
