Anybody got any experience messing with the throttle pump settings?

My car gets a little lean when I get on it, but just for a second, then the AFR's go back down. I'm thinking I'll shorten the vac line to the MAP sensor, but I also need to look at the throttle pump settings.

Anybody have any advice on tuning this map? What settings work for you? The Haltech manual barely mentions this stuff.

its kinda different for every car, but its the same as tuning a carb. theres 2 adjustments, one for the total amount of fuel, and one for the length of the pump shot. sounds like you might need to just add a little fuel.

Making the line shorter and using a hard wall tube makes a difference.

Make sure the TPS is in good condition, if you have free play in the shaft it will not work as good as it should when you step on it.

Does the car hesitate on the throttle transient???

Are you staring at the wide-band???

If it's not hesitating, then don't **** with it!

No, it doesn't hesitate. I usually have a co-pilot reading the wideband. I was just concerned about the AFR's momentarily going up near 14 under load.

That's normal to see a lean spike.
