I'm currently in possession of a plethora of Moates hardware. I've been using it in conjunction with Hondata/Crome to play with maps for my civic. I've noticed that the Rtek7 hardware is, in fact, a 28pin ROM chip, which is the same as used on civics. In essence this means I should be able to use same-said hardware to build roms for an RX-7. I'm curious if there is software currently available that allows rom editing for the RX-7 or if anyone knows the map addresses on the ROM.
The Rtek7 stage III software, btw, would not work. thanks! |
all the japanese rom tune these things, but it never really caught on here.

if only i could read japanese
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...co.jp%26hl%3Den it's got stuffs for my ae111 as well. that would be GREAT. |
my brother was trying to learn to ROM tune. just like chrome in the honda world.
i seen a lot of japanese people have done it. basically you have to break the code and read all the letters and numbers and translate that. its some pretty hard **** from what i heard. would be nice way to go if someone here could do it. i think racing beat did it to the renesis ECU cause they offer a stock ECU uprgrade...but its not reprogramable after you get it back i think. |
