Hi,

i don't own any aftermarked ecu currently, but learning. one thing bugs me:

how are the injectors triggered?

to be more precisely:

you can set the ignition timing based on the position of the e-shaft in degrees.

what about the same thing for the injectors?

i do not mean for how long they should stay open in ms. i mean a way to tell the ecu "fire injectors at xx degrees"

i never found this option in the power fc (that's the only popular ems i got in touch with)

are there fixed values in the pfc, or am i getting something seriously wrong?

the pfc prolly has it somewhere, but it might not be accesable.

the haltechs have it too, not really knowing any better we just copied the factory settings. (its actually in one of the books)

i'm pretty sure with a datalogit you can adjust it.

Haltechs have it? What's the adjustment named and what setting are you using?

theres the end of injection map, i'll have to pull out the lap top and see what we ran

Hmm... It doesn't sound familiar. Maybe the F10 doesn't have it.

It's called injector phasing.

On a Haltech E6K / E6X, it doesn't matter cause the injectors are all batch fired.

Via Hitman, changing the injector phasing does very little for performance for these ECU's on a rotary engine.

i didnt notice a difference on the e11 either

I downloaded the E6k software and there it is, under options, injector phasing. It's not available in the F10 software. I wonder if I could still control it somehow.
