Does anybody know what the percentages on the far right side of the screen are for? I am curious since cause my friend was told to play with those to try to find a better setting for the primary turbo(doesnt spool fast). Exactly how does this work or what does it represent. I dont want to touch em untill i know what they are.

i think its supposed to be the duty cycle of the solenoid i think, just play with it until it boosts the way you want it and ignore that

thanx Mike, I found my instruction book....I dont suppose that can correct my slight overboost problem, could it?

I'll play with it since i found it!

Yep, that will correct your overboost problem. Turn your actuator duty cycle down and BAM!...lower boost.

Yes, it did help a bit. I pushed them down to about 48% on primary and 50% on secondary. It went from a .90 to .80 better but still higher than my .65(colder temps) I'm sure when it warms up again its gonna be back to raising the duty cycle. I'll probably back off a bit more on my way to the track this Sunday(with forecast in the 40s, might break into 12s this time around!) :bigthumg:

That's one thing you have to worry about with the PFC...the weather. it WILL overboost if you're not careful. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif

I already found out the hard way. That .90 was scary since it did hit fuel cut. I went from WOT to CRAP....backed off immediately and so far dont think i hurt it.

Regardless of brand of programmable ECU the weather, altitude, intake air temps, and closeness of tuning all make for some damn dangerous situations. If you tune for max power you are riding a razorblade if one of the variables change. Best solution for variable induced overboost is to add a $100 popoff valve and set it for just under the max boost you want to allow. I currently have mine dialed in to .95 bar (13.965 psi) on the Commander.

The first time you hit it though you are likely to think its engine rebuild time!!!
