I just picked up a s5 t2 motor for my gxl and I'm trying to get everything set before i start the install. I've done quite a bit of research and I've seen many write-ups where using the stock wiring harness causing firing issues on the rear rotor when using the n374 ecu. Running the n370 is the obvious fix for this but unfortuanely the n370 is very hard to obtain. Is there any companies like r-tek etc that can chip my n374 to make it work properly with the na harness?

i have a suspicion that when n00bs use the N374 on a swapped car, they aren't hooking something up correctly and the ECU is in rear rotor fuel cut. the ecu pinout is the same, but X14/X15 (the connectors under the dash) change because of the LHD/RHD.

my old school friends had no trouble running N374's on turbo cars, it seems to just be the turbo swap crowd that has problems.

the other thing, of course is that the N374 doesn't output a check engine light like the N370, you need to use one of the other two methods in the FSM. there's one with a factory code checker, and there is one with a voltmeter.
