Guys, where are you taking you vacumm/boost source for the map sensor for the e6k?

I"m using the old port on the ACV. I"m want to hear your choices.

yah the old port on the acv is where the factory sensor goes, although anything that sees manifold vacuum/pressure is good.

mines right after the throttle bodies, but it's kindof specific to the individual throttle body configuration. There are two ports, one per throttle, gotta have lines coming off both then tee'd together to one line for the map sensor.

I got a responce from the Hitman. He said the best ports for source are the one on the throttle body that sit behind the altenator on the TIIs. I"m having problem with jumpy reading on my haltech. That's why i'm asking.

It worked, for the first time i have the steadiest vacumm/boost signal.

NOt sure why i'm not getting near 100% throttle. I'll check that tommrow. Must be somethign getting in the way of the tps like the new hose

hmm this is interesting. maybe thats why they have the pill in the stock line?

if you don't find anything obstructing your throttle maybe you have to recalibrate it, check if the tps is walking around too.
