How easy was it to install? I'm putting a jspec in my TII and want to ditch the stock wiring harness since it's pretty brittle. Do I yank the stock ecu and wiring harness and rewire everything with the LT8?
you have to splice in the connectors off the old harness. you also need to remove the wiper harness from the engine harness but yeah basically you get a brand new harness
to wire it nice and neatly you need a good soldering iron and atleast one WHOLE day and it should work. my wiring is done but i have to clean it up and work out some bugs unfortunately. i have to find the stock water temp gauge wire too among other things
I spliced my water temp sensor connector for my haltech install, soldering the old harness wires was pretty nasty stuff... I plan on replacing the temp sensor with the GM/Haltech peice next time the water pump housing is off. I prefer the all new sensors and connectors route over using the old connectors and splicing the typically corroded wires into the new ecu harness.

Thanks for the replies guys. Now, where's the best place to pick up an LT8?
