has anyone here used innovate motorsports' new low budget wideband controller LC-1.
its for sale for $199 with a bosch 5wire O2 sensor 2 analog outputs, and the LC-1 harness. |
isnt phins an authorized dealer? if its any good can we setup a group buy?
|
but then you have to get a gauge. im guessing it could work with any gauge, but theirs is like 230 bucks. both for 400 or 350 at a GB in club.
|
well, the LC-1 has an analog output that can be used for the stock EFI computers meaning it can put out a narrowband signal.
plus i was thinking more of using it alongside a datalogit |
yeah. i was just looking for info on hooking up teh lm1 to the datalogit. would be a nice.
|
Does what it says on the tin. If you are using a turbo then it pays to buy the additional heasink, as the LSU4 can be overheated in turbo applications, or build some fins as shown in the instruction manual.

I have one and it works with my TecIII. It will also display on my digi dash when i get around to getting that https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

has anyone here used innovate motorsports' new low budget wideband controller LC-1. I wouldn't call it low budget; it has a higher resolution D/A on the AFR signal output than the LM-1. It's just designed more for specific applications, where you don't want the interactivity and size of the LM-1 (like when you're doing data acquisition on a dyno, or using it with an ECU for auto tuning). I'm going to be picking up one this week. I've had good luck with my LM-1, so I'm going to leave an LC-1 in the car at all times hooked up to my ECU. It's great that these units have become so cheap. |
i have had the lc-1 for a week, and its still in the box.. hehe

i have had the lc-1 for a week, and its still in the box.. hehe Did you get just the LC=1 or with the XD-1 gauge? I have been thinking of selling my LM1 for the LC1, just don't like the big box. I bought it for the datalogging, but realized that it will not suit my needs. |
nah i didnt have enough money to get the xd1 yet... ill get it in the future thoguh

I returned your pm.
One thing to check, without the gauge the only way to tell if you are logging correctly is to have the innovate software pulled up on the computer. It displays a gauge too. Pretty cool but it is hard to see unless you have a tuning buddy ridding along. Computer screen: https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v.../Computer1.jpg |
Just installed mine and its a really nice unit. I really like that its basically a cable.

so if i just bought the lc-1 and had a laptop i'd still be able to datalog for cheap?
