Okay I am looking to upgrade to 550cc injectors. But there are high and low impedance ones. I know the difference between the 2 but which do I use for a Haltech E6K??

What years RX-7 Turbo am I looking to get these from?

Thanks,

Dave

You can use either high or low impedance injectors with the E6K, but remember that when you wire injectors in parallel you'll lower the impedance. The Haltech probably can't work with impedances less than 1 or 2 ohms.

Early 87 TII's had the low impedance injectors. Everything after that used high impedance. Check out http://www.mazdatrix.com/c-6.htm for more information.

On a 2 rotor engine and haltech, you'll be using a driver for each injector (haltech has 4 drivers tops). So it doens't matter if you mix them, with 2 low impedence and 2 high impedence. Each injectore will have its own driver. what I wouldn't do is have the primaries injectors mixed or secondary mixed. I would run the same kind of injectors paired up on the secondaries or primaries.

THANKS,

That clears things up.

so even if you had 1700cc and 1000cc injectors it wouldnt matter but what if you were using microtech?

The flow of the injector shouldn't make a difference to the computer, since you can tune for that.
