I need to know whick of the wires coming out of the ECU are for which coil???

I would post this in the ECU section but this area gets more traffic and I need to know tonight. If I can figure this out I can fire up the car tomorrow. Them I will be able to dyno it friday.

Please help!!

I know you all want to know what this puppy is putting down.

To crarify what I am asking. There are 3 wires that run from the stock ECU to the ingitor control unit that is under the cruise control in the engine bay. I need to know which wire controls which coil.

I hope this makes sense.

OK. Looking at the service maual, one labelled BR/B goes to trailing rear. Labelled BR goes to trailing front. Labelled LG goes to leading.

Is this from the ECU or from the controller to the coils??

That sounds right though.

I dont have the stuff here but there was a Brown/Blue and a Brown wire I remember that much. I will print this out.

Thanks!!!!

You are the man.

To the igniter. To the coils it goes LG/W, LG/R, LG/B

Yeah we had a wiring diagram and it was clear for the coils but it just showed the others going to the ECU no indication which was which.

Thanks again.

Nice work Jim, That looks excellent :yum:

TYSON 02-11-2003 09:39 PM

This might sound stupid, but do you need the igniter if you have a Haltech and MSD setup?
