I have a shutdown problem with my F10 setup.

I was told the map sensor doen't like to get shaken/bounce around, so I remounted it real good this time. It was a little loose.

I was also told that the gas moving to one side of the tank on a corner could be an issue, but highly unlikely since I had 4/5 full of gas.

Has anyone here had shutdown problems with their Haltechs? Either from a hard bump, Big 180-270 degree corner, or hard acceleration? Basically vigorous driving.

I haven't had any of these problems before until just recently. Makes me think it's an electrical problem

Let me explain a little about my Turbo II's mods:

1990 Turbo II

-Haltech F10

-85 GSL-SE Ignition setup (2 Blaster 2 Coils, 2 MSD Digital 6+ ign. AMPS. Magnecore 10MM)

-T66 Turbo

-Streetport

-Smog? hehe.

-3 inch exhaust to Y pipe to stock dual mufflers. I have an Exhaust cutout valve electronically controlled to open and close, exhaust is not an issue.

- Full suspension setup.

I have to ask a stupid question first. Did you add additional ground points to the engine. I added a 2 guage wire from a tranny bolt to the fram of my car for added insurance.

I was having hesitation problems too. It turned out to be my fuel pump rewire. It would loose connection during hard left turns and heavy acceleration. My wiring problem turned out to be a bad connector in the front of the car on the relay.

It might not be your Haltech itself it couls be a bad wiring connection. I would start with grounding and fuel.

I can hear the fuel pump buzzing still when it shuts down, so I think it's a ground thing or maybe a bad connection. Maybe others are right about the map sensor getting shaken around.
