Does the E6X have the ability to control S5 Electric OMP's? Or does everybody just convert them over to the S4 manuals?

To the best of my knowledge, which is somewhat limited, the E6X has no such provision. My guess is that most people with S5's and Haltechs are using premix.

No.

Only the E11V2 can.

So the real question is it worth saving some more $ to get the E11 over the e6x? Are there any other real advantages to having the E11? Thanks

Chuck the E-OMP.

Go premix! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

oh convert to S4 front cover and OMP. Then rig it so that it gives max TPS linkage position to OMP system all the time.

Don't worry about your car smoking... I've ran my snowblower and lawnmower down to 1:20 something before and it doens't smoke if it the carbs are tuned right.

in my experience you get to be stuck by the side of the road a lot more with the e11, lol

e11 $1500

20b fc $10,000

being stuck by the side of the road because the ecu froze, again, priceless...

Ok so it sounds like the e6x is probably a better choice. I really don't want to mess with pre-mixing. But then again I'm not sure I want to mess with changing over to manual omps. What are the effects of running oil through your injectors. I would imagine it would change your flow rate dramatically, which could mean I need to upgrade injectors. At that point do I really want to be pushing oil through them?

Not sure I understand your concern. A TC-W3 certified 2-stroke oil is fine through injectors. At the dilutions we're talking about, I don't think it will have a measurable effect on flow rate. I could be wrong, but that's my impression. Anybody else?

RXTek 01-27-2005 03:27 PM

Well my concern was that running 2 stroke oil through the injectors might change the flow rate enough for me to run out of injector overhead. I got to thinking about it and decided that if I'm going to drop the cash for an e6x I might as well do an injector upgrade. Just run lower boost if I run out of injectors until I can afford them.
