i was jus checkin to see how good the wolf3d is and the quality of the handtuner. does the handtuner do the same as the laptop option would or not even close? and is wolf a good brand in general?

depending on what ver. you get. the wolf 3d ver 4.0 you need the laptop to set some basic things for the sensors and is alot easyer to tune the car with the lap top. the ver 3.1 is a horse a piece.
i have ran both vers and am very pleased with the systems , however tech suport blows goats and chris greene the socalled usa distributer, though better then the last guy , can go **** himself. i got a much better guy out of chitown to help aswell as the guys from austrsailia. randy |
I was a long time V3.1 user. My EMS is still being put to good use in an NA around here, but the resolution was too poor (in 21 psi mode) for my car.
I was going to upgrade to V4, but went with Haltech instead. It really bothered me that the V4 couldn't use the stock T2 trailing coil, when my old version could. The cool thing about the HC is that you have all your car data at just a glance, without having to have a laptop hooked up. Generally, I prefer the Haltech software over the Wolf as well. Also, I find tuning with the HC a bit of a PITA in comparison. |
