I hear a lot of back and forth talk about the E6k, and Microtech. What would be a nice system to get. Should i go with the E6k (which i heard is getting outdated), a Microtech (ltx8 or ltx12). I also heard about the Haltech E11, but i dont know anything about that. I havent heard of that wolf system either for that matter. I know, well, so ive heard, that the Motec system is the best, and also the most expensive. Since im not Shumacher, and i doubt i will be going to Tsukuba anytime soon, i dont think that the Motec EMS would be neccesary. Laptop support is a plus, and Normal PC tuning is as well. Im not too sure about what a lot of the EMS termanology accounts for (open/closed loops, etc). This will be used for my FC(turbo). I do like the idea of the Haltech's ability to be tuned while running, but i dont know for sure if any of the others have this same option. I'm not a fan of the whole extra gauge type attachments that you can get with the Microtech, im sure they do their job well, but i just wouldnt like all that too much. I plan on having the car re-wired as well, and from what i've heard, i can get rid of a lot of unneccessary engine components with the EMS. If you can provide me with as much information as possible, that would be a great help. It has also been brought to my attention to use water injection, or someother type of injection. Do these systems all compensate for this? Prices on the systems (e6k ~1200, ltx8 ~900, ltx12 ~1000) i dont know how much the Motec, Wolf, or E11 are, or maybe other systems. I have also recently looked at Greddy's new E manage piggy back system which is supposed to perform quite well, while i do not have any personal experience with it.

the bottom line is to get the one you have the most support for in your area/ the one you feel most comfortable with.

Yes I agree also, get something with good user support. Nothing wrong with the E6k or PFC.
