okay I'm having a 20b swap done to my fd and I'm looking at three different ecu's i wanted everyones opinion for each one. Also I want to say that This car is not a race car and needs to be a street car I have a daily driver but I want the car to be able to be daily driveable the only reason that It won't be is because of gas mileage. the car will be occasionally taken to the drag strip and the track from time to time. the three ecu's are: electromotive tec3r, microtech ltx12, motec m800. any information or opinions are appreciated.

Microtech is very easy to install and comes with base maps for the 20b. Wiring diagram is 20b specific if you order it that way. For a street car it's a good choice, without a lot of extras. Much cheaper too.

I had heard that some people have had problems with the microtech ltx12 on 20b's. some people have told me that like 50 percent of people love it and the other half just keep blowing up motors anyone heard anything about that? also i have also been told that If doing the motec is affordable its is by the best any opinions?

I've seen the Microtech make 822 whp on a 20b, with bigger turbos needed. It does not work well with a CDI ignition, but you don't need the ignition.

Haltech E11V2 will work 20B + direct fire CDI

how is the microtech with its built in ignitors? which coils would you guys recomend? or would i be better off going with a haltech, ignition boxes, and coils?
