i did turn up the boost and was praying i wouldt blow it, but they closed the track due to rain.

You can probably do waaaaaaaaaaay better than that..... just need more practice with the fd. Good luck

Well shifting later than 5500 would be a good start.

um...yeah! take her up some in the revs PLZ. maybe try launchin a lil higher like 3.5k-4k. launch as hard as you can take just barely loose traction. FD's can run high 13's at least. give it hell and let us know how you do. have fun with the FD.

get your boost issue fixed first..

Well I did about juts as bad tonight. I was running on the nitto drag radials again. I smoked the tires slightly and it still didn't hook up all that well. But I think the real damage was teh car bogged badly and I was only running 12 pounds of boost instead of the normal 15 I run on the street.

Damn you must have bogged big time to get that 60'

He did. I thought he stalled out. But look at that reaction time!!! A ******' .589. CRAZY!



But we both had fun. I did not run though, as I am stock and running hot with coolant problems.



It was awesome. First time I have been to a drag strip. First time seeing cars lift up in the front end from so much power, and so much noise. I also saw a piston powahed S4. work on that 60' time. rule of thumb for every 1 tenth 60' u save, u save 2 tenths on 1/4 time... meaning u get that 60 down to a 2 flat ull be deep into the 13's

I already hit 13.2 the first time I went. That sucked too. I should be handing out low 12's or 11's but with no experience drag racing aside from these two trips Its hard for me to get the car to earn those numbers. I am gonna try just rolling on next time and see if i can get a better time instead of launching it. I'll play around and find something that works.
