I got a little(short, but not small) video clip of my dyno last summer... running at 10:1 A/F ratio all through the RPMs, with 17psi i got... 439.8 rear wheel horsepower.

hahaha do it, it vents more air...and won't hit the bov under the hood (on my car)
don't think its good for aerodynamic, i think the air won't get draw out as smoothly as the original design... may be a little more turbulance... |
With my current turbo setup and relationship of the filter to vent I could easily do it. On my prevoius setup my intake would be in direct line of rain. Bov is no problem for me either way. Gotta love that hood though, cheap and effective, looks good when painted too.

thanks... i didn't like that white car black hood rice boy look. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/happy.png
i took those pieces i cut off and made them into my "rain block plates" so remember don't throw them away~ |
