Like it says there is only one dyno here in **** hole texas lol!

Anyways it is a mustand dyno that will read upto 1800hp. I wanted to hear some oppinions about them in general and Has anyone ever dynod their car with say a dynojet and compared it to a Mustang Dyno?

I will try to get the pic I took of this huge bitch up here so you all can see what I am talking about. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif

With this now I will be able to see how much HP I gained from my CAI. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

I believe mustang dyno's put out lower #s than dynojets. That should not matter if you are comparing gains from the same dyno..

Ah but which ones are more accurate to real life numbers? dynojet or Mustang?

i heard mustang is setup for a more accurate reading in real world situations. I think it varies the resistance of the drums simulating higher speeds and such. I like the idea of it.

generally dynos are only accurate to about +/- 3 hp and thats back to back, so you can imagine the variance you can get between like a cool winter day vs a hot summer one

Yes I will do all the runs on a single day and try to maintain a FAIR setup as far as letting the car cool down to help eliminate the effects of heat soak and all that.

The main point is that I just wanted to know how well they are at guaging my car's HP and that of the mods I have developed/made for it.

If you all are interested in any of this go to the forum I made by clicking on the link I posted up above and register. It will take ~30 seconds to input the information at the longest.

I will try to answer any questions and take any suggestions from you all as I am trying to be as responsive to the general RX-7 community as possible. But Keep in mind that I am only working with two other workers so things are not 100% great and they do not yet compare to those of companies like GREDDY, HKS, etc but I am working on raising the level of quality.

Hey guys. My rear end gear shouldn't have an efect on my HP rating right? The way I see it it shouldn't because the power is still getting to the ground but acceleration is just slower.
