Ok this might sound dumb ....but I know these dyno shops deal more with Fuel injected engines than Carburated...

When they do dynos..they adjust it to the best performance right?

So should I go to a shop that does alot of rotarys?Whats the going rate on a dyno?

I just want to see what im running horse power wise..before I do more mods...Like street/bridge port

Buy this......... Power Meter i-D You can buy that for what a few hours of dyno time would cost.

**** $300.

How can your still check your dyno..like free spinning your wheels?etc.....

To check your max power...

There is also a Gtech pro, its even cheaper, $140. HERE IS A LINK. It explains how they work on that site.

B) That G-tech is so cool! Has anybody got one? Does it work? I think I want one! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

I've heard really good things about it. I guess it is pretty damn accurate too.

I want a g-tech!

I have a G-TECH. I like it, but wished I would have gone with a Race-Techonology AC22

http://www.race-technology.com/WebPa...ifiedMeter.jpg

This one does HP and 0-60 1/4 at the same time. Plus the ability to log.

The G-Tech is great considering it's price. But I don't care too much for the cord. Also it is kind of a pain to adjust the vehicle weight into the unit. You have to move it up and down to adjust the weight. I think a switch would have been a better thought.

I didn't like that the RaceTech isn't backlit, no mounting bracket and no USB to dump data, but they do have a unit that is backlit coming out soon.

Maybe I would never be satified. The G-Tech is a great product considering it's price. One note though, This is not a radar detector and you cannot set it up and leave it on your dash. It is sensative to temperate change and will produce drift if you leave it in the sun.

I like the Apexi RSM-GP.

It is a little more expensive (MSRP of $275), but I like the looks and functions.

The Rev/Speed Meter GP's dot matrix display adopts the highly successful & bright blue VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) from the popular AVC-R & S-AFC products. This display allows various modes of information to be displayed simultaneously in numerous ways:.numerical; graphical; and analog.. All information is displayed accurately and clearly. Product size is at a slim 52 mm x 126 mm x 18 mm & can be mounted anywhere in a vehicle cockpit. Multiple function buttons are eliminated with the incorporation of a single navigational rocker & push button providing ease of use. Measures a vehicle's engine RPM; speed; and distance traveled. It also displays battery voltage (in real time) in three different modes: numerical; analog; and graphical. Peak values are also displayed in all three above-mentioned modes & playback can be displayed graphically. It can measure the speed achieved & the time elapsed in 0-100m; 0-200m; 0-400m runs Vice versa it can measure the time elapsed for 0-100km/h; 0-200km/h; & 0-300km/h. With time taken to achieve a vehicle's top speed intermediate acceleration can be measured. It records & stores the 5 best values of each function. Turning the power off will erase all values recorded if not stored in memory. Initial settings in the EEPROM will not be eliminated when the battery power is removed. Removal of battery will also will not eliminate the best 5 values stored. Removal of a vehicle's battery will not eliminate any information stored in memory which ensures that initial settings are not required to be reset. When setting RPM function the output switch is loaded once it reads engine speed. For example: with readings from vehicle speed it calculates & displays RPM depending on vehicle's gearing. The RPM reading can be set to activate a shift point indicator light & even to activate a scramble switch of a boost controller. It is applicable to newly released Honda models with automatic transmissions& to Toyota models where speed cancellation is difficult to overcome.

I have a G-tech, and i used it on my truck back when i had my truck. It was pretty accurate to what the factory rated it (300hp). I have yet to use it on my TII simply cause i just forgot i had it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

I think it was $150 well spent ... but my ex didnt think so. B)
