I think it would be good if we could have someone post dyno sheets for various stock rotaries for comparison purposes. That way, it would be possible to see how different mods affect the performance.
Naturally, I think the dyno sheet everyone would like to see first, is the one for the stock Turbo II https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png |
If someone has access to a free dyno why not, but who would pay to put a stock engine on a dyno? I would volunteer my N/A for a dyno run, why the hell not!
|
that would be nice but like rob said most people with bone stock cars don't care....
|
Well, I understand all that, but surely, way back when this car was the ****, as in Motor Trend Import Car of the Year, some magazine ran a dyno test and published it. I was hoping that someone here knew where such information was available.

they are too cheap to dyno them haha

hehe. motor trend is good but they do avoid some things. they also never have a tuner war issue... everything is always stock... once a year they should focuz on modded cars

well does anyone have the original acceleration test #'s from those mags? I've heard a range of 14.8-15.5 for the 87 T2 when it came out and times varying from 15.5-16.5 for the NA's. I've never actually seen the orig articles or anything.

Is redline the best point to shift out of first and second gears on a stock TII or a little earlier?
