Given that 1/4 mile racing is 75 driver/25 car...what are the numbers on a stock 87 NA - non vert. 1/4 mile? HP at the fly? HP at the wheels? & Torque? Just wanting to get an Idea as to where im starting out at...

It comes stock with 146bhp@6500 rpms and 138 lb-ft@3500rpms. The approx. 1/4 mile time would be 15.4@88.48mph

Can anyone post as to the fastest they've gotten their NA to go..short of NOS or a TII conversion?

hahah, anyway you say the peak 146hp is @6500 rpm....if you were racing someone bone stock would u want to shift at 6500/7000rpm? if you had mods would it make a difference in when you should shift? i know you couldn't really do much to an n/a but would it?

rx7machine 03-31-2003 08:53 AM

It depends on what rpm range the mod is adding power to.. if it's high rpm.. it may help..
