Hello Everyone...



Just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to all of you that will read this thread.

My name is Val and my nickname is PREACHER , president and founder of the SOFLA RX CLUB that

caters to all Rotary Powered vehicles from the R100 to RX7 to RX8.



We hold Bi-weekly meets in Kendall at TANGO'S PIZZA and about once a month and half we have a larger meet up in Broward County and into Palm Beach County. We have a meet this coming Thursday May 4th at TANGO'S PIZZA located at 12310 SW 127th Avenue @ 8:00 PM



The SOFLA RX CLUB was first established in March 2005 as the Miami RX7 Club but changed its name around November when we made the decision to drop the 7 and just make it RX to entertain to the complete Rotary Community. Our club does not actively have membership dues set up as of yet since we have had so many projects going on. Each member of our club will have a plasticized ID card and will have discounts above dealer cost from area businesses such as ZONDERVAN RX7 and others in the Miami and Ft Lauderdale area.



In January we had one of the largest meets at Watson Island where we had a total of 67 Rotaries in attendance.



I have to thank Bern from SOCAL RX CLUB for allowing us to adopt the logo that bears our name today. I have expanded into other areas of Florida such as CENFLA RX CLUB which is based out of the Orlando area and I appointed Tony 'Dreamofmyrx7' to head up the Central Florida chapter.



Next on the agenda of expansion is Jason who will be heading the NORFLA RX CLUB out of Jacksonville and Jose from WESTFLA RX CLUB out of the Tampa area.
