i need help, my wipers stopped working when it rained the other day, then later that evening the wipers worked, but since then my wipers havent moved.
i can hear the clicking from the relay within the steering column. any ideas? |
Wut happens if you try to move the wipers by hand? Intermittent like that sounds like a switch or motor.
Did you check the fueses yet?
i havent tried to manually move the wipers yet... cuz i dont wanna break anything....
ill check the fuses.... i didnt think it would have been the fuse though cuz it stopped working then it worked again, but ill check anyways |
Any luck yet?
no luck... all signs seem to point to the $300 combination switch inside the steerign column
ouch....let me know if you wanna swap em out and see.
well i was at june's garage, and we decided to test the wiring harness with a test light, and we were getting signal to the harness, this rules out that my combination switch is bad (good thing cuz its a 300 dollar part). so most likely its a blown motor.
its my 3rd blown motor in this car!!! |
