front 18x8, rear 18x9

offset: 38

here is a pic of the wheels on my friends car...

I thought the S14 was a 4-lug, unless it was the LSD/ABS model... just curious.

I think 18x9 +42 was about where you'd want it... You should be able to get away with a +38 rear, those fronts don't look like +38. Hell, if he has 5 luggers, just slap them on and see what it looks like!

How heavy are those, anyhow?

Benny 01-22-2003 01:02 AM

S14 SE models are all 5lug 5x114 i guess i need to call my local wheel shop friends and ask if they'll fit... only problem is.. they dontknow much about fd's thats why i thought i would ask here 1st...

Sinful7 01-22-2003 01:04 AM

and why can't you just swap them from his car to yours for ten minutes? Then you'd know for sure.

cause im lazy... lmao i'd like to know before we go through the trouble cause he lives kinda far from me... then he's gotta get wheels for his car too... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Whaa? Just drive over there... Jack up one side, spin the nuts off, and slip it on your car with only 3 nuts tightened fully... you don't need all five if you're not moving it or putting load on it by jacking the opposite side. You wouldn't even have to torque them! use a floor jack, and the job will take 20 minutes, max. As long as the inside and outside of the tires don't rub (suspension/body, etc), you should be OK.

how far is kinda far? 'Cause for me.. "kinda far" is 45 miles, and I think it'd be totally worth the drive. then you can see exactly how they'll look on your car before you buy them. BTW, I really like those rims! ADR's, right? Take some darn pics of the test fit!!!

Sinful7 01-22-2003 04:13 PM

Hell, you could just slip your FD wheels on the S14 and take his home, 'till he gets new ones.
