A few observations: No blow by problems to speak of when driving hard, occasionally some blue smoke on startup for the initial startup and then its gone quick. I've been getting an increased amount of oil dripping on my garage floor. Oil is all over the bottom of the car and even sprayed a friends car when driving 100+ as I passed. With that said its also being flung on my DP and will create smoke. Got under the car tonight and its too hard to tell right now where its coming from, but I have it sprayed down to try to figure out the source. From what I can tell its not coming from the turbos themselves, although the very bottom of the compressors have oil on them, but no sign of oil above that point. The oil return lines is spotless too. Mainly the oil pan and some surrounding areas above the pan are covered with oil. Also: I took off the intercooler piping and there is a lot of oil in the piping, both before and after the intercooler. This had me a little concerned about the turbo seals, but I know some oil is common in the piping. When I say a lot of oil, it was finely spread throughout the pipes and had puddled a small amount in both pipes at the couplings. When I looked inside the intercooler there was also some visible oil, but not much. Thoughts?

EDIT: also just change the oil since its probably over due. Switched to 20/50 compared to 10/30 that I've been running.

Dan,

My guess for the external oil leak would be to check you engine mounts and the oil pan at the mounts. They tend to flex and eventually will start leaking there. An engine brake will help prevent this some...

also look at the metering pump, the o ring between it and the front cover likes to leak.

oil pan, rear main seal, motormounts(part of the oil pan) seem to go on 3rd gens alot. Take off the inspection cover on the trans and peak around to see if you got oil in there.
