I can find them everywhere for the FC, but no FD... shouldn't be hard to have the water pump run off the back of the belt... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif and WHY? you ask... because they sound and look sweet.

I've seen them called Cogg belt/pully kits and Gilmer belt/pully kits....

im down for them as well. Thats one mean looking waterpump belt

CletusFD3S 04-28-2005 03:31 PM

that looks bad ass.... hummm... rx7's use the same thing for their water pumps that hondas do for their timing belts?

nopistons94 04-28-2005 03:38 PM

I hate timing belts, yay for no timing belts

Il RX8 lI 04-28-2005 09:29 PM

Yay for not having to deal with any of that crap in general. Cams, camshafts...bleh.

We've got one BIG CAM running down the center of the motor!

Sinful7 05-02-2005 04:21 PM

is that not feasible because of the serpentine belt?

FikseRxSeven 05-02-2005 05:10 PM

if you can find a way to make the water pump turn the other way, im sure you can use that kit https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png or maybe an electronic water pump so you can bypass it

GreyGT-C 05-02-2005 09:12 PM

i was thinking the same thing Martin.... i'm gonna be running an electric pump this time... do they make REALLY short belts for a gilmer drive setup?

FikseRxSeven 05-02-2005 10:04 PM

you can always rig something up so you have the extra wheel spinning from the AC or AP brackets
