Hi there, new to this forum but not to the world of the Rotor.... I'm looking for all the vin # locations and need your assistance to find them all.

I know the basics but I'm wondering if there are more than the obvious locations other than the door, fire-w, dash, motor......

I'm looking into purchasing a second RX7 and really need a deep check on this one if you know what I mean.....

Your help is really appreciated.

Hmm, door(s), firewall, windshield. I think that's it.

I'm sure there is one on the frame somewhere.

Yah,

I thought so but I remember someone shooting his mouth off one day talking about a stamp on the frame but I didn't know if this was true or not. I don't remember seeing one there.......

its stamped on the firewall right behind the engine..... if thats what you meant by frame

It's a unibody, so no frame to stamp on.. There's a vin on the door sill on a sticker, if the car has been resprayed this might not be there.. Then there's the dash, and lastly what Fikse said, stamped on the firewall.

i had thought it was also stamped on the exterior facing side by trans tunnel?

Yes those are all area's that I have spoke about in my first post, Door, Fire-W, Dash & Engine.......

Seems that those are the major and common areas I'll need to look at..... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif
