I am looking to buy a shop manual. I have a 94 and found a 93 shop manual for a good price.

What exactly did they change if anything?

Thanks

Off-hand I can't think of much changed that was of consequence. Probably 98%+ of the time the 93 manual will be fine. There's also downloads for free:

air bags, the 93 didnt have a passenger side. The A/C system may also be different. I believe mid-94 was when they switched to r-134

At any rate, they are close enough that it wouldnt really matter which manual you had.

i believe EGR has a sensor attatched to it for all 94+.. where as only CA 93s had them.

This was one of the issues back in the days when M2 chipped ECUs flashed engine light when wrong year or CA vs Non-CA ECU was used... Damn, I'm OLD!

M2 = Mostly Mazda. Used to do quite a bit of RX7 related race parts and tuning... i think they have moved onto a different platform these days.
