Is there a reset or anything for the warning lights by any chance? I drove the car around for 5 mins or so and it had normal oil pressure and temp didnt go above 1/2 way, but still both warning lights were light up during the entire drive. The engine light also flashed once. I tried clearing the ECU codes, but i doubt that'd have anythign to do with the coolant/oil lights

the coolant and oil lights are probably for level and not temp/pressure. check the levels of the fluids and then check the connection of the sensors.

Everything is where its supposed to be. Resevoir is full, over flow is correct, rad is full. Dipstick is right in the middle
|
check the wiring for the sensors.

Check the alternator connection and ground wire. I know that will throw the dash warning lights on if it goes bad or the cables come loose.

This makes sense, i seem to remember the battery light was on, as well as the ABS light
were all of the other ones on too? when you describe a problem its not a good idea to leave out important info. |
if all of those are on... it's your alternator. I've had this problem twice in the past. Check the wiring going to it....and then take it somewhere to have them check to make sure the alt. isn't kaput.

I took it to advance auto parts last night, and unfortunatly since the car isnt idling the greatest, they couldnt do an alternator test.

take the alternator off and take it to the store
