Well, my FD is giving me a few issues lately. When I get onto the gas, she shudders like she's not getting enough gas for whatever reason. This I can't explain at all as I was pretty sure I wasn't lacking in the fuel department. I'm hoping someone out there can just toss out some random hints as to what could be causing the issue. I recently just fixed my map sensor wires as they needed soldering so i figured what the hey may as well get it done now. So that rules out that possibility as the map is in great shape.

Any other ideas would be greatly welcomed.

Oh and i'm using the stock ECU.

that was a problem with my car when i was getting low fuel pressure.

this can be due to low voltage, clogged fuel filter, bad pump.

check your compression first cuz that would be easier to check on a stock setup. then if you're getting good compression, check the fuel pressure.

as far as your map sensor wiring, make sure that the ground wire is grounded to the body of your car. the wiring harness is grounded to the body, and replacing wires kinda bypasses that ground. that could very well be your problem also, but my first guess is low fuel pressure.

Stock fuel pump? If your using a walboro you'll have to run constant 12 volts...walboro's don't like 9 volts....I proved that one.

i had that same problem, if you were just cruisin, she'd start lurching, but if you floored it or took it out of gear, or got off the accelerator, there was no problems.

did you check your exhaust for leaks? sometimes, especially with a modified exhaust, it is really difficult to locate exhaust leaks, you're gonna have to check every single bolt and gasket from the turbo back

iin my case, 2 bolts had worked its way loose where the downpipe met the turbo housing. needless to say, i wasn't happy to do the job, but by now, i can almost get to my turbos blindfolded. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png
