I pulled the fuel filter and inspected it. Initially a little bit of dirty fuel dripped out. I took a hose and connected the filter to the fuel pump and ran it. The flow out of the filter quickly cleared out and lots of clean fuel began flowing out. I thought that the filter might be clogged, but it seams ok. One thing I was wondering was when the fuel pump is made to run by grounding the f/p pin in the diagnostics box, is it recieving the full 12 volts? I guess I'm going to send out the injectors for flow testing. I don't know what else the problem could be.

i just changed my filter, i blew into the new one and compared that to the one that came out. i think i might have missed it, do you think it was too lean?

Maybe you got some "bad" gas? Possible water in the tank? Just a few more things to consider.

Bad gas is how Rikki lost his engine the first time.

If it was water in the tank seems like you would have noticed it more when driving at light loads. I had a car years back that got water in the tank and it was pretty obvious even at low rpms and throttle, of course depending on the amount of water could effect that. Bad pump gas is always a possibility, you didn't accidently put in 87 and not realize it did you?
