1. During the unflooding procedure what does it mean if gas is trickling out of rotor 2 plug holes but nothing is really coming out of rotor 1 holes (and i think when i took the plugs out that rotor 2 plugs definitely had a good amount of gas on them but not rotor 1 plugs)? Could this indicate some kind of carbon lock or other? or am i not really flooded, should gas be streaming out of all holes?



2. Also, after you've been unflooding an engine you won't be able to test it for compression anymore right?...without first replacing plugs/wires and fuses, starting the car, letting it idle at normal operating temps and build some compression back??

I wouldn't worry about how much gas is coming from where.

There is no reason why you cant do a compression test now.

The car either has compression or it does not. Just becuase its flooded doesn't mean the compression will be different.

Actually, if the car is flooded you would probably have low compression. The reason the 3rd gen is so hard to start once it is flooded is because the excess fuel washes the oil away from the rotor walls. This causes the apex seals to not seal properly against the walls. Therefore the car will not start because of low or no compression. Once the fuel is removed, this is why you add the ATF it creates the needed seal to obtain compression.
