well, even with a power fc, you still have to program the ecu to run a 3bar sensor, so i would higly doubt it if your car's stock ecu will be able to read the 3 bar sensor

I wouldn't exactly call it "tuning" a 3 bar map. You basically put it on setting 2.

Do you use the datalogit? I would call that tuning. You can adjust anything.

lmfao...Chris and Igy were both Beta testers for the Datalogit way back about 2+ years ago. I bought mine soon after. You don't need the datalogit to change the stock 2 bar to 3 bar...only a commander. Option 1 = 3 bar map sensor.

lol, so i guess its not tuning...... i guess my point is that stock ecu wont be able to read it

he doesnt have the 3 bar sensor, i said that may be an alternative to replacing the burnt stock one. thats where the question was asked abut compatability.. that and a new 3bar sensor is probablly less than the stock mazda one.

Definitely a LOT less. If he needs one, I've got my old one that he can buy for cheap.
