Just checked and yes, its a coolant level sensor not temp.

The throttle body coolant line that you indicated (in another thread) your going to by-pass anyway would have been a way easier and better location, since it will give readings before the themostat opens or in the unlikely instance, it stuck closed. |
I agree with Jim.
since there is already one on the stock location, its redunant to put another one by the water pump assembly. I also agree with Jim regarding putting an aftermarket sensor by the rear plate (where the TB coolant line originates) as usually its the hottest point in the engine..
