well i was driving around today..... and stopped the car for about 2 hours.....

when i turned the ignition on, the light went off and started beeping. i immediately turned the car off and checked the overflow if there was fluids. and it was filled, actually a little past the full line. turned the car on again and there was no problem. 10 minutes into my drive, it buzzed again for about 10 seconds..... so i decided to take it extra easy the rest of the way home. i dont know if it would help determine my problem, but its about 10 degrees outside.

has this ever happen to anyone of you guys?

im letting the car cool down for a little while, and im gunna check the filler neck if its full (should have done this in the first place).

if there is no leak its the sensor in the front of the neck. if the fluid is ok you should be able to ground it till you get a new 1

ok, i just checked the filler neck

the filler neck is not exactly full.... actually its pretty low... maybe its low cuz the car already cooled down? and the overflow tank is still very full, actually 2 lines past full.

any suggestions?

i just filled the filler neck on the water pump all the way to the brim, and drove around for about 10 mins...... i didnt get any beeps throughout the drive. turned the car off and let it sit for about 20 mins... checked the coolant again and it was low again.

can anyone tell me how high the level should be? cuz there is coolant there but its a ways down, maybe 2"-3" from the top of the filler neck.

it should be to the top of the filler housing. You either have a bad cap, not letting the reseve flow in, or you have a leak

jay.... as usual ,you are my savior!!!!!

i filled coolant through the filler neck while my car was running... to make sure that its completely filled...... then i went for like a 30 min drive (i had to go somewhere too). when i popped the hood...... there was green stuff coming out of the radiator cap. i let the car cool down for a lil while and checked if i installed the cap correctly and it was as tight as it can go.
