FikseRxSeven 08-06-2003 01:41 AM

DRFT 08-06-2003 02:00 AM

FikseRxSeven 08-06-2003 02:29 AM

DRFT 08-06-2003 10:48 AM

wraith 08-06-2003 11:28 AM

nope no tilt on the FD i think...i havn't seen one with it anyway.

DRFT 08-30-2003 11:01 PM

Can you get a special adjustment piece for a FD to adjust it up???

or just get a smaller wheel?

vosko 08-30-2003 11:19 PM

you can get a smaller wheel or a D-cut wheel

DRFT 08-30-2003 11:21 PM

but no way to make it higher?? jus 2inches higher??

papasmurf 08-30-2003 11:22 PM

there is almost no way to modify it to tilt. the steering colum is mounted to the dash supports and does NOT have a hinge attached to it as a tilt wheel would. unless you make the hinge mechanism and the lever to hold/ release the wheel, i dont think it will ever tilt..

FikseRxSeven 08-30-2003 11:25 PM

replacing the steering wheel is the your only hope

JT-Imports 08-30-2003 11:46 PM

No tilt like everyone said.

Options

D-wheel or smaller like Vosko mentioned

Or detachable wheel, which is a nice theft device too!

Nothing like walking up to steal a car, that has no steering wheel, you can take it in your house, put it behind the driver/passenger seat, they couldnt see it without getting in the car anyway..

COOL HUH?

DRFT 08-30-2003 11:52 PM

Correct, $500 off eBay ($560 total with shipping) Great service I got the wheel 7 days after the auction closed (PayPal at close of auction) from Japan.
