So I have the "typical" stalling with the A/C on if I slow down suddenly. And I have checked the clutch pin and it is just fine.....so is it an ECU problem? There was a TSB on it...
Second part of the question/comment is really about the different ECUs out there. I am trying to decide between the Pettit/M2 types (will this get rid of the stalling?) or the PMS PFC (or will this get rid of the stalling?). So you gurus out there...help out a 93 FD owner in need.. Thanks, kmaot |
the stalling when the ac is on, the reacalled part anyways, was when the engine was cold. does yours do this? or is it all the time? it could be that your ilde speed is too low anyways.
the pettit/m2 ecu's will solve the problem if they have the undated board. the power fc will also fix it cause your ac won't be on https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png , or it might not be on. there is an ac "problem" with the power fc mike |
Thanks Mike.
The A/C does that not just when it is cold....even after she has been running after a while. I will try adjusting the idle upwards - that may just do the trick. That is good news re the Pettit/M2 chips. Can you define "new" for me? And what about PFS PMC? Kmaot |
i dont know a lot about the pmc but i think you can turn the idle up with that? i meant to say the updated board, if you get a different ecu that has been updated it might fix it. there was a recall on the ecus, you can call mazda and they will tell you if it applies to you.
