i was going to buy a ss clutch hose here in the next few days, and was wondering how many guys were running them. i was also wondering if there was any noticeable difference after the install like pedal feel, shifting, etc.....

rp sells them for ~40 and i fugure that i could make one for about half that, so let me know what you guys think....

well, i figured you'd have one, but has it been too long since you drove with it to remember if it makes any signifigant difference? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I just put one in as well, have'nt tried it yet cause the car's still being stored, I figured I'd put it in cause I was doing my clutch anyhow, also I figured the original hose is like 10 year's old so I thought it would be a good Idea to replace it

no substantial difference...

there is still other factors to consider..such as..

bleedin the lines properly after install...

firmness i felt with the ss could have been the result of...

air in my lines prior to install....

hence...the effect of improvement..

replacement of the factory rubber imo is justification enough...

if your old hose is about to break you will feel a difference lol. if you are doing the clutch might as well do it
