What happens when you put the leading plugs in front and the trailing plugs in the rear? As opposed to them being trailing on top and leading on the bottom?? When i say in front i mean the two leading one on top of the other to the most front part of the motor and the trailing the same way, only to the rear. So what happens when you do that? if im using NGK stock replacement 7's and 8's

Actually, at idle, both the leading/trailing plugs fire at the same time, but if you put both leading in the front and both trailings in the rear, it may cause one of the plugs to fire directly onto the apex seal....which will lead to a BLOWN ENGINE...I did this before...that's why:(

well if its just the plugs that are misplaced, and the ignition wires still going to the proper plugs...... there shouldnt be a reason for the plugs to ignite on top of the apex seal..... right?

FikseRxSeven you are right, as long as the plugs are hooked up right shouldn't hurt it. I don't know what plug he was running but they can be different temps 7's and 9's

yeah so that means, one rotor wont be producing as much power...... and will have a lot of carbon deposits....... and the other rotor will ignite very well and produce a lot of power....... so the balance will be off, which is still not good at all

Yes and No. When I went non-sequential, I Pulled ALL the unnecessary crap from underneath the UIM. In the process, I took out the coils. When I put them back in the stock location, I put the T2 on the T1 and vice versa. Doing this causes the Rear rotor to fire on the Front rotor's apex seal under boost. This is how I blew my first engine.



Later on down the road, I moved the coils with no issues whatsoever.



I think I mis understood the question I thought that the spark plugs AND the spark plug wires were in the wrong places. I run all 9's. If you flip flop them all around(like I normally do) and put the plug wires in the right places, it won't matter.
