please do me a favor. there is an access plate a couple inches infront of the shifter. Could you measure the distance between that access plate and the shifter? Thanks.

I've seen them literally drop large boxes w/ our hydraulic pumps in them from the loading dock onto the truck. Those guys are gorilla's. They do not give a **** what is in those brown boxes.

They broke a set of turbos once. Dropped them so hard that the snap rings came off and the compressor wheel contacted the housing, bending the fins.

Vosko,

From the center of the shifter to the center of the access plate. I was thinking to move the shifter up to the area of that access plate. That way, I could move the transmission back a couple inches and the shifter would still be in the same area of the transmission tunnel. Why? to make room for a 20b! Thanks.

judge ito does that modification to first gens to fit the TII tranny.... its pretty cool
