You will want to upgrade your fuel pump, replace your fuel filter, and rewire the fuel pump to get the most out of your fuel system. The most you want to run on the twins is about 13psi, after that they will fall apart fast...

Years ago, I was talking to Cam Worth with Pettit Racing in Florida. We were talking about boost levels on the rotary engines & what you could put into one reliably. He mentioned 10 or 11 was about it & after that, expect to be replacing the motor quicker than you normally would with lower boost levels. I know he has seen a whole lot more motors than I have & has seen first hand, what happens to one with too much boost. I took his advice to heart. The ported motor that his company built for me in the early 90s is still going to this day. Running around 8 PSI. I could dial the boost level up even higher on the Cartech turbo kit that is on the car now but don`t really want to. 8 PSI is ALL I need in a 1st gen 2400 LB car. Hosed MANY V8s with it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif

As 1Revvin7 mentioned, it's not a matter of engine longevity.....your limit is the stock twins. They're just not very efficient after about 12 psi and begin to make more heat than boost. If the OP wants to run higher boost and keep the sequential set up, then BNRs are the way to go IMO. They're more efficient and more robust to take the added stress.
