any advice ? tomorrow im filling the oil up and doing some cranks to get the oil pumping. anything else i should do to ensure a safe engine ! first time this engine has been run in a while (reman from mazda). thanks guys !!

if it don't start right away like after 30 seconds. stop wait at least 1 min. then re try.

keep an eye on your water temps... you'll be constantly bleeding the coolant system!!!

whats some good tips for bleeding pete, this is my first time bleeding the rex and i know there has to be some good pointers to make sure everything is good !

I just started my Reman about 5 days ago.



As I'm sure you already know, but in case you don't...



Make sure you unplug your coil harness, and run the fuel lines into a can of some sort to drain the "bad" gas into. Also have your oil filter off, when you see oil come up into the oil filter "ring," then you're ready to start it.
