so it doesent eliminate the clutch, just changes the shift pattern. i think that would feel weird, operating a seq. tranny with the clutch...?

Didnt sell well before. LOTS OF PROBLEMs, then they came out with this one, it supposedly is better then the original.

I believe reverse you have to switch something or pull on something, I cant rememeber. It seems cool, but this thing sits about 10-12 inches above the center console. YES its HUGE! hehe

Dragon--Had Stillway, he just loves to change parts hehe I would be interested on some feedback.

The guy I knew that had one it was on a 180sx, but he took it out shortly there after since the cables stretch and you have to adjust I guess..... GRANTED THIS WAS THE OLD TYPE

Yeah... they had them for the supra. They are cool but really ugly looking. I think it can change from sequential to normal modes buy inserting a pin or something like that. Too much money!

You know, maybe I'm a bit in the older age, but nothing beats going through an H pattern six speed, banging through each gear is what makes me feel alive sometimes. It's a feeling a clutchless tranny just cannot duplicate, even this shifter!!!

TyresmokinRx7 08-16-2003 10:39 AM

I agree with Srce on that. 5 speed H patern box all the way

JT-Imports 08-16-2003 08:20 PM

You can get a Tranny that you still have the"H" but you can do it clutchless over like 5000rpm? Correct me if im wrong. I know the tranny is REAL, but I cant remember the shift RPM hehe

Ever driven a true sequential? IMO it is the best way to go....if you have the cash.

Then just buy an automatic. That way you dont have to worry about shifting at all. I enjoy shifting gears. To me it is what defines a true sports car! Sequential shifters should be left to drag cars. That is the only application that I see which would justify such a purchase.

Dragsters don't use seq. shifters. Road racers do-
