Hey guys,

Thinking of selling the FD. Just wondering what you think I should get for it. I have a racing clutch, HKS BOV, and the paint is mint! How much do you think I should charge for it?

Danno 09-13-2003 05:51 PM

Oh I also have a stainless exhaust.

sadly none of that really matters towards the value of the car, stock parts are worth more on the car and good body condition and paint is another plus. how many miles on it?

9Second7 09-13-2003 06:20 PM

I'll give you 1000$ for it, let me know, lol, j/k.

Yea be more descriptive with the car, Miles, paint body condition, interior, runs and drives? any mechanical problems? what year fd? Etc.

That way we could give you a reasonable estimate on how much your car would go for.

Danno 09-13-2003 07:57 PM

98,000 miles Good cond. interior, R1, 1993, runs great and no mechanical probs.

9Second7 09-13-2003 08:42 PM

you can expect from 12-14k for that car in my opinion.

yeah that is about right, the miles dont help at all

What, you mean not enough miles- not properly run in yet? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

If the paint is MINT, interior is MINT, good compression and good boost pattern, the MOST you would get is 13k IMO because its a red 93 with 98k miles. There are a lot of red 93s out there. Plus the car is right on the 100 mark, and not a lot of people like being past 100k. If its original engine someone that knows RX7s probably wont touch it for over 10k (if the paint and interior is in absolutely MINT condition). You have to consider that most rebuilds (done right) go around 4-5k. In the end it all depends on all the factors and what the buyer plans for the car. Good luck on selling it
